Bras are
the basic foundation of breast support. Bras are
designed to support the weight of the breast tissue. The
fit of a bra is crucial to the distribution of the weight.
This allows the bra to support the breast and will help
to relieve shoulder, back, and neck pain.
A correctly
fitted bra will insure that the cup is positioned
correctly, the underwire is not pinching, the back and
straps stay in place, and the garment works well with
each individual.
Measuring guidelines vary from store
to store, magazine to magazine, and fitter to fitter.
A measurement is just a starting point. Our trained
bra fitters insure that your foundation garment is worn
correctly. A properly fitted bra should contain,
support, lift, and shape the breast tissue. A woman
should have a bra fitting at least once a year, or after
weight loss or gain. All women have different
fitting needs. The staff at Petticoat Fair will take
the time to address each individual and her needs.
